We went to pick strawberries in Carnation and we picked 15.5lbs! I jam for the first time with the strawberries, it was a lot more work than I thought it would be but it came out really good! I think we got too much, most of them was way too ripe so we have to toss them out. Next time 10lbs would be more than enough. Brandon had fun picking them, he keeps squishing them with his hands and got all over his jeans! Also, next time we will need to bring knee pads and gloves...Steve's arm got a bit red from the plants, his skin is allergic to the plant it seems like.
