Visiting our Local Fire Station



We finally had a little break from the rain/snow and I've been wanting to head over to the fire station and take some pre-birthday pictures for Brandon.  We went down to the downtown Bothell Fire station and they had pulled out the fire truck for a washing.  What a great timing! We walked over and asked if we can take a picture with the fire truck and the firemen were so nice, they let us take a tour inside the station too.  Brandon was a bit shy at first but after a while, he warmed up to the fireman. 

He even took him to the back of the ladder truck and showed him the inside of the ladder bucket.  Brandon of course had a great time and he played with his toy fire truck right when he got home and until bedtime. I

I got to take some pretty cute pictures, thank you nice firemen for the tour at the Bothell Fire Dept.

Kung Fu!

Happy Chinese New Year! I got Brandon a chinese outfit from HK last year, and he wore it for the first time!  He refused to wear it at first but after some convincing, he put it on.  After the photo session, he doens't want to take it off!  I tell you, it's hard to get him to do something new but once he gets used to it he loves it!

We didn't do a whole lot for new year, I think it will be more fun if we are in HK with all the festivities.  Maybe next year...

Snow Storm of 2012

Happy New Year! It's been a while since I posted anything and I wanted to post more often this year as Brandon is getting more and more active and have opinions of his own!
We have our first snow this year and it has not stop for almost 5 days!  We have been homebound pretty much most of this week and brandon has been home with us while we try to work.  As I'm grateful that I have a job that is flexible enough for me to work at home,  I am not brave enough to drive in such weather!  Since I'm from Hong Kong/California afterall :)

We took Brandon to sledding on one of the hills in our neighborhood, he had lots of fun!  Steve took Emma and Oscar out yesterday as well.  It's fun for the whole family.
